Unlike regular braiding hair, you don't need to stretch it yourself over heat or by hand — it's ready to braid straight out of the pack. The result is less frizz, less tangling, and a much smoother finish.

Step-by-Step Installation

Step 1: Prep Your Natural Hair

Start with clean, detangled hair. Stretch your natural hair if needed — a blowout or banding method works well. The smoother your base, the neater your braids will look.

Step 2: Section Your Hair

Use your rat-tail comb to create clean, even parts. The size of each section determines the thickness of your braid. For classic medium box braids, aim for sections roughly 1″ × 1″.

Step 3: Prep Your Braiding Hair

Take a small section of pre-stretched hair from the pack — about the width of two fingers. Fold it in half and loop it around your natural hair at the root using the feed-in method.

Step 4: Braid Down

Begin braiding your natural hair together with the synthetic hair, feeding in additional small pieces of pre-stretched hair every inch or so as you work down the length. This creates a natural-looking, knotless effect.

Step 5: Seal the Ends

Once you reach the end of the braid, dip the tip in hot water for 3–5 seconds to seal the synthetic hair and prevent unraveling. Let it cool before releasing.

Step 6: Lay Your Edges
